6 Days Rongai Route
Compact northern route ideal for those seeking a remote experience with less traffic. Moderately difficult with unique wilderness character and good weather protection.
6 Days Shira Route
Similar to Lemosho but starts at high altitude (3,600m). Not ideal for beginners due to immediate high altitude exposure. Excellent scenery with less crowded trails.
7 Days Umbwe Route
Extended version of the challenging Umbwe route with better acclimatization. Still very demanding but with additional rest day for better success rates.
6 Days Umbwe Route
The most challenging and direct route to the summit. Steep, demanding, and only suitable for experienced mountain climbers. Spectacular but very taxing climb.
6 Days Marangu Route
The "Coca-Cola Route" - classic and well-established with hut accommodations. Gradual slope makes it easier, but same path up and down offers less scenic variety.
5 Days Marangu Route
The shortest and most budget-friendly option. Hut accommodations and gradual slope, but low success rate due to limited acclimatization time. Best for budget-conscious climbers.
