6 Day Zanzibar Package Holiday Tour

Day 2: Stone Town City Tour + Jozani Forest

09:00am: Stone Town City Tour takes you around the historical culture and architectural important town of Zanzibar with a century history. Visit the former slave market site, now stands as Anglican church built in 1871, town market, Zanzibar Memorial Museum, House of Wonder built in 1883 (Beit-Al-Ajab), Old Arab Fort, Palace Museum, Old Indian dispensary (Cultural Center) to Maruhubi Palace Ruins via Living Stone House.

2:00pm: Drive to Jozani Forest Tour for red Colobus Monkeys, natural forest, and mangrove forest and the living species of fish underneath. This is the only place in the world to see the endemic Red Colobus monkeys.

Day 3: Spice Tour + Prison Island

09:00am: Spice Tour - on this tour you will see and taste the tropical fruits, spices plantation or plots in the island. A variety of spices plants used as ornament, medicines, flowers, fruits and another interesting flora can be seen during spice tour. Visit Kidichi bath built in 1850 by the first Sultan for his wife Sheharzad (grand daughter of Fateh Ali Shah of Persia).

2:00pm: Prison Island Boat Tour - a home of Aldabra Giant Tortoises. Flanked by an amazing beach of reef sanctuary, the island is ideal for swimming, snorkeling and beach relaxation. Learn about the island's history as a former quarantine station and prison.

Day 4: Safari Blue Adventure

8:45am: Trip to Safari Blue - A full day sailing/snorkeling/sunbathing on a traditional dhow and seafood barbecue. Setting sail from Fumba, you will explore the Menai Bay where dolphins are often sighted.

When dropping the anchor at Kwale sandbank, you can go snorkeling among the coral reefs. At Kwale Island you'll be served a buffet of grilled fish, lobster, calamari, chicken and coconut rice. The boat sails to a stunning natural lagoon where there is opportunity to swim, before the day is over.

5:00pm: Transfer to North or East coast hotel for check-in and beach relaxation.

Day 5: Beach Relaxation Day

Full day beach relax at the hotel. Enjoy the pristine white sand beaches, crystal clear turquoise waters, and tropical paradise atmosphere. This is your day to unwind and soak up the sun on some of the world's most beautiful beaches.

Take advantage of your beachfront location to swim, snorkel right off the beach, enjoy water sports, or simply relax under the palm trees with a good book. The choice is yours on this perfect beach day.

Dinner and overnight at your beach hotel with the sound of waves as your lullaby.

Day 6: Departure Day

Pick up from hotel/resort and transfer to the harbour/airport for departure. Take one last look at the beautiful Indian Ocean and the exotic spice island that has captured your heart.

Depending on your departure time, you may have opportunity for some last-minute souvenir shopping or a final stroll along the beach to soak in the tropical paradise atmosphere.

Transfer arrangements can be made to accommodate flight departures or speedboat connections to Dar es Salaam and onward travel.
